I know when i am leaving college
When I am no longer checking my attendance
When I am no longer worrying about Darpan or Inbloom and a theme
When I am not thinking about a logo
When I am not staying up doing an assignment
When I don’t need to plan my outfit for the next day
When I don’t need to worry about my hair
When I don’t need to fix some part of my laptop, so it works in class
When I don’t need to burn a disc with some movie for a teacher
When I don’t need to worry that I have enough money, to buy stuff
When I don’t need to charge my phone often
When I don’t need to find a way to make the college logo look right in a poster or design

When I can listen to all the music I want
When I can see movies, peacefully
When I can delete notes and burn books! (I am not going to do that though, its only an idea right now)
When I can start making my portfolio
When I can see my photos and smile that I can remember life in college nicely
When I can see my assignments from first year and laugh how weird they were!
When I can see my internship report and laugh at myself, about how it helped me!
When I can see photos with my friends, and recall all these pleasant emotions!
When I can see my Darpan 08 photos and go gaga on how amazing they are!
When I can see InBloom 09 photos and go like that is mine! Yay and all the effort paid off!
When I can see Darpan 09 and say wow those are my designs and my photos!
When I can see InBloom 2010 and say thats my idea! Those are my designs, a part of me is in them!

When I can read and write this post, and thank all those people who have helped me through all these three years in Christ College!
I thank my class, everyone I am close to, who have eaten my food, who have criticized me when I designed something crappy, when I have done something nice, when I have cried to be there, who I have done my CIA’s with all the groups! I know I am lazy, and those groups that I have fought with, I tend to get closer to people I have fought with its a weird thing with me! For all those people who have stayed back with me in college for Inbloom or Darpan or a CIA, thank you all Or after hours celebrating my birthday and making my day special Love you all <3

Indian Dance

Things happen for a reason, call it fate or destiny everything has a purpose. So this post is about how I am feeling nostalgic and stuff, about 30 days left in college, some things have happened which are simply amazing!

First thing that changed me, was ordering my cam, originally I wanted a sony h9! Thank God Uttam suggested this camera! Taking the certificate course was prolly the best thing I did, I made soooooo many friends thanks to it. Oh and  yeah, the next thing was clicking for college during Darpan 2008, I had sooooo much fun. Designing for Inbloom 08 was nice and it opened my eyes to all that designing and all that creativity! It was a real nice experience. Designing for Backstage Passes, was also damn amazing, but it was only an eye opener. I am still laughing at myself, when I took part in Darpan in 1st yr, that was such a shitty design! I laugh at myself every time I see it My so called Pratham, amazing magazine thank you Christ Uni

Well 2009 is still surreal, cause Darpan was amazing, designing for it was sooooo damn relaxed, photos were not as good as the previous years, i guess wasnt in a mood to do it, felt more like a burden than a hobby! Inbloom wow! I loved every bit of it, designing for it clicking photos, amazing experience! Made soooooo many more friends, had loads of fun, the photos have come out sooooo damn well, I am damn happy! I am going to add photos here In a separate post.

This year has been the most remarkable year! Successful events, winning first place for the first time, being in final year, getting an imac! Wow this year has truly been amazing!

So the year started of with Inbloom 09, which went of really well minus my cam though.

Then came Silhouette! It was the best thing that happened in 2nd yr in our dept i swear! I owe it all to my class and my classmates!

Flunking and then passing after a reval something that i still feel is a dream, thought of having flunked was scary! But then i cleared it with a nice 1st class, thank God!

Internship was relaxed and i had lots of fun

Darpan! was THE BEST that happened this year! Winning 1st prize in photography, and 3rd in graphic designing that itself is hard to believe! Got into cul team soon after that! Pondi got cancelled due to Swine flu

After all that i have been thru the past month or so, i should be eternally happy, but its not, happiness lasts only for a little while, that week, and if not celebrated for at the right time, its not going to go on. I haven’t seen some people, i am close to, its odd, its something I am not used to.

I want to remain happy, cheerful, excited, but i cant, too much work, too less time. Too many problems solvable but unsolved.

Too too too less time, to breath.

So this is now, this is what makes my future!

Are you a part of my future?

It is upto you, and what you decide.

So this is now.

I am not a stranger to myself now, but maybe then when I am in my future

I might not know what I am then and what I am now.

So I want you to know

This is me now.

I have changed

And I am changing

Change is the only thing that is there for always

So this is my present.

Enjoying music, and movies, all things teens like.

So lets see this post in 5 years and see  how much I have changed.

Right now music is important, and i listen to a lot of it.

My winning entries in Darpan

Is art for me I am bad with my 2 hands so graphic design has my pallete/swatches, my brushes, my canvas the layers and then whatever i add to it to make it my own

I’m back into my analyzing mood, i want to know what life is. what defines life? What will happen if i ask this question? What can i expect from myself, by doing something like this.

I believe right now that, life is something that defines a person, a path on which a person travels, and keeps on travelling till death, or even after that. I have certain goals, certain features, certain things that define me, does this define my life as well? Is my life, designed, defined by what i do or what i am?

A tragedy, a romantic comedy, an action packed adventurous film, is our life something like that? Are we seeing a distorted reflection of ourselves in movies? We all have our ups and downs, is our life similar to that of a movie? Does our life have scenes? Like a setting, and lighting? Antagonists, Protagonists and Supporting Characters, i am making the former 3 as nouns, thus capitalized. So is there a character like the joker, one who is there only to trouble us? Or a glass slipper, which will change my future? Is life like a contrast to a fairytale?

Does one’s life consist of people as in subjects, things as in objects, a verb or an action, and a preposition a setting? Such as Deepa’s pen is lying on the table beside her. A Subject me in this case, my pen which is on the table. Can life be defined with ‘a’ subject, object, verb and preposition? In one’s life there will be several subjects, objects, verbs and prepositions, defining one’s life can be done after one’s life is loved to the fullest till the last second he or she is on this earth in a biological form, psychologically, we continue to stay, we can never die psychologically, we are parts of others’ life and they are a part of us.

Life goes on never stops, biologically maybe, heart stops beating, blood stops flowing.

Life goes on psychologically forever. It cannot be defined.

Indianized Pasta

First boil about 6 firm tomatoes, so that the peal comes of, the sauce is better this way.

After this drain all the water, put the boiled tomatoes, in a mixer, mix it for about a minute add salt and pepper powder.

Next take the dry pasta, boil it add salt and pepper powder here as well, depending on how spicy you want it, the taste gets into them, it tastes much better this way.

Boil it for about 8 to 9 minutes, it will be soft this way.

Next take a deep pan, add about 8 tablespoons of oil so that the pasta doesnt mix, add the tomato sauce to this, stir well.

Next add about 3 spoons of butter, to make the taste to blend well.

Finely chop thyme leaves to it, take fresh dark green leaves, the aroma is much better, and it tastes better as well.

Next add oregano powder, abt 3 tablespoons, mix well so that lumps are not formed.

Taste a bit of it and see if it is to your liking.

Add either salt sugar or pepper powder to enhance the taste.

Next add bits of either a cubed slice of cheese or, fold 2 slices of cheese and break it into small fine pieces, mix this evenly in the bowl.

Stir for a bit so that all the newly added ingredients mix.

Add sliced chillies to make it spicier.

Close the lid of the bowl and allow it to heat up for about 2 to 3 minutes.

Add chopped mint leaves for garnishing the pasta.

Your pasta is now ready to be eaten
